Protective Security Officer (PSO) Services   2

The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension of up to six (6) months to the current ordering period of an existing multiple award contract, 70RFP218DEC000016, with Master Security Company (10946 Beaver Dam Rd., Ste D, Hunt Valley, Maryland 21030). This proposed extension will provide for continued protective security officer services at various locations in Rockville, Maryland. to allow time to award and transition the follow-on efforts for these services. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole sources basis with the aforementioned vendor under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available.

A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to SAM.gov following award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $29 million.
