Background
The Protective Education for Girls in Mali is an initiative by USAID aimed at addressing the barriers faced by vulnerable learners, particularly girls, in the mining regions of Kayes and Bougouni.

The program's goal is to improve access to quality education and enhance teacher capacity while providing targeted support for girls aged 6-19 who have been marginalized due to their exposure to the mining industry.
