Background
The solicitation is issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, for the repair of fire protection systems in Hangar (B1348) at Eielson AFB, Alaska. The project is a full and open competition with a best value/trade-off source selection and includes a HUBZone price preference. The work will be C2 DO rated order certified for national defense, emergency preparedness, and energy program use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) 15 CFR 700).

Work Details
The work includes but is not limited to removal work to replace the existing building fire alarm system with a combined fire alarm/mass notification system, and conversion of the existing overhead Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) system to a water pre-action fire sprinkler system. The contractor is required to follow all requirements of the DPAS regulation.
The performance period is mandatory and negotiable, with the contractor required to begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 740 calendar days after receiving award notice to proceed.
