Propeller Blade Gages

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy's ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.

This contract is specifically for the manufacturing of propeller blade gages to support the Navy's Main Propulsion Equipment.

Work Details
The contract involves the manufacture of (1) LPD-17 Propeller Blade Gage Set. The set includes:
- Cylindrical Gages (Pressure Face and Suction Face)
- Edge Gages (Leading Edge and Trailing Edge)
- Tip Gages
- Fillet/Hub Gages (Pressure Face and Suction Face)
- Planform Gages.

The Contractor must develop fully defined 3D manufacturing CAD models for each gage, including overall dimensions, inspection contours, marking lines, and identification information. The Contractor shall also conduct a pre-crated visual inspection and a full dimensional inspection of each blade gage set upon completion of manufacture.

Period of Performance
14 months from the date of award.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate technical acceptability by conforming to the solicitation requirements. They are required to utilize references provided in the SOW for manufacturing processes and must notify the Technical Point of Contact if discrepancies are identified in any supplied reference drawings.
