Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a solicitation for the construction of a Training Support Center (TSC) at Fort Irwin, California. This project is part of the National Training Center (NTC) and aims to enhance training capabilities for military personnel.

The TSC will include various facilities to support administrative functions, training activities, and the use of advanced training aids and devices.

Work Details
The contract involves the construction of a single-story, 60,000 square foot Training Support Center (TSC). Key components include:
- Administrative space
- Classrooms/training areas
- Facilities for training aids devices simulations and simulators (TADSS)
- Cyber security measures
- Anti-terrorism measures
- Installation or connection of an Energy Monitor and Control System (EMCS)
- Specialized shops including a vehicle visual modification shop, metal fabrication/molding shop, and woodworking shop.

Supporting facilities will encompass electrical systems, water supply and sewer systems, exterior lighting, storm drainage systems, fencing, fire protection systems, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and information and communications systems. Comprehensive interior design services related to building furnishings are also required. Additionally, a warehouse and climate-controlled vehicle storage building with related support space are part of the project scope.
