Title of Event: PROJECT POLARIS Modernization plan for improved Soldier capabilities and integration

Audience: Department of Defense Contractors and Government Stakeholders

When: 27 June 2024, 0830 1715 hrs.

Where: Hilton Springfield, 6550 Loisdale Rd, Springfield, VA 22150

Purpose: Assistant Program Executive Office Soldier (APEO Soldier) will host an I/SEF on 27 June 2024 at the Hilton Springfield, 6550 Loisdale Rd, Springfield, VA 22150 brief Industry on APEO activities and capabilities as well as to inform Project Polaris '25.

Key topics center around an explanation of Project Polaris, the vision for the Squad as a System, Soldier Load, outlining Soldier digital engineering and architecture, and identifying integration gaps and opportunities to Industry and key DoD stakeholders.

  • Each Industry organization will be limited to a maximum of two (2) attendees.
  • There is no fee to make a reservation.
  • Meals will not be provided by the Government at this event.
  • The Government will not reimburse participants for any fees related to this event.

To make a reservation: Industry partners interested in attending the I/SEF must submit an email with subject line: " PEO Soldier PROJECT POLARIS I/SEF, 27 June 2024, Reservation/ Attendee Request no later than 1600 hrs on 14 June 2024. Please attach a list of your attendees on Company Letterhead which includes the Cage Code, a list of all prospective attendees, and a statement of their US Citizen status, signed by the Company Facility Security Officer as well as information listed below.

The Government will send read ahead presentations via DODSAFE to qualified Industry partners and stakeholders prior to the POLARIS I/SEF. The Government will use the Defense Contractor's Primary Email address provided by Industry. Industry may request one-on-one meetings with APEO Soldier and other PEO Soldier entities starting on 5 June 2024, by emailing Mr. Kurt Niles, kurt.a.niles.civ@army.mil and Ms. Dina Davis, email: dina.l.davis2.ctr@army.mil First come, first serve will be reserved to meet with Program Managers Lethality, Soldier Warrior, and Survivability regarding PROJECT POLARIS I/SEF topics. Government will notify Industry participants of one-on-one meeting times NLT 14 June 2024. Industry partners may present hardcopy or digital information about their capabilities during their one-on-one meeting on 28 June 2024. Attendance at the 27 June 2024, PROJECT POLARIS I/SEF is a prerequisite for requesting a one-on-one meeting opportunity.
