Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Savannah District is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Project Number RA-52311-3P, which focuses on the repair of Building 11 Post Exchange (PX) at Camp Merrill, Georgia.

The mission of this project is to enhance the functionality and safety of the PX through various repairs, ensuring it meets operational standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Repairing fire suppression systems, fire alarms, HVAC systems, interior finishes, ceilings, lighting, communications, and power as needed within Building 11 PX.
2. Site repairs outside the 5-ft line surrounding Building 11 PX.
3. An optional construction of a new dumpster enclosure for visual screening of the on-site building dumpster; this option may be executed if additional funding is secured.
4. An optional removal and replacement of aged paving in the parking lot; while necessary, this is not a high priority compared to other repairs.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period that will be defined in the solicitation but is expected to include options that may be executed no later than 60 calendar days after notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Camp Merrill, Fort Moore, Georgia.
