DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The contractor shall provide multiple repairs which include demolition and construction for renovation of LOX Plant Building 26224 to be used as a storage facility. Site Improvements includes demolition of an existing mechanical enclosure and removal of an existing power conditioner that is no longer used. The work includes removing all existing unused appurtenances from the old oxygen generating equipment such as concrete pads, electrical/mechanical equipment, and other related items. The work also includes concrete infill of the existing openings on the roof and walls. Existing single doors and motorized roll-up doors will be replaced. Exhaust fans and make-up air vents will be provided. Existing exterior/interior walls, ceilings and floor will be patch and repaired to received new finish. Electrical work includes removal of existing equipment/fixtures and providing lighting at the new storage area, power for motorized roll up doors, mechanical ventilation, and general receptacle.

This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million.

NOTICE TO OFFERORS:

Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.

The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing of receipt of Bids.
