Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued solely for information and planning purposes. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation.

This is an important opportunity for respondents to influence the application of requirements supporting the acquisition strategy for this program. There is no formal solicitation available at this time and this RFI does NOT obligate the USG to issue a solicitation.

Background
The United States Government (USG) is seeking information to assess industry capability for providing Post-Production Logistic Fielding/Sustainment Support to the Project Management Mounted Armored Vehicle (PM MAV) portfolio. This includes support for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) Family of Vehicles, Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) Family of Vehicles, and M88 Combat Recovery Vehicle Family.

The goal of this Request for Information (RFI) is to influence the acquisition strategy for this program, which is intended to meet requirements from July 2026 through July 2031.

Work Details
The contractor will provide various services including:
1. Equipment Training: Conduct New Equipment Training (NET) or Displaced Equipment Training (DET) with certified instructors. Develop and document training materials and conduct risk analysis prior to training events. Provide electronic and paper training support packages.

2. Deprocessing: Perform vehicle checkouts at deprocessing sites upon arrival from production facilities. This includes loading/unloading vehicles, unpackaging, filling with oil and fuel, inspecting for damage, and conducting joint inventories with gaining units. Ensure vehicles are ready to operate by performing inspections and repairs as necessary.

3. Technical Manuals: Utilize specific technical manuals such as TM 9-2350-418-10-1 for AMPV General Purpose M1283 and others listed in the solicitation to guide operations and maintenance.
