The Veterans Affairs Central California Healthcare System has a requirement to remedy site security deficiencies and relocate the Security Monitoring Room to accommodate new equipment. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, expertise, supervision, and administration for the work described in the contract documents (I.E., contract documents, solicitation administration for the work described in the contract documents (I.E., contract documents, solicitation).

Background
The Veterans Affairs Central California Healthcare System has a requirement to remedy site security deficiencies and relocate the Security Monitoring Room to accommodate new equipment. This acquisition is for Full and Open Competition.

Work Details
The awarded contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, project management, administrative support, and specialized expertise to perform the work stipulated in the Scope of Work, the Construction Drawings, and Construction Specifications.
The project site is at the Fresno VA Medical Center at the cross streets of Fresno Street and Clinton Avenue, Fresno CA. The general description of work includes but is not limited to:
a) remediation for site deficiencies in VA Fresno Healthcare Center as reported by Romanyk Consulting Corporation;
b) relocation of the current Security Monitoring Room (SMR);
c) providing a required allowance in the bid amount for the reimbursement of certain expenses as described in the bid documents.

Period of Performance
The total contract duration shall be three hundred thirty (330) consecutive calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The project site is at the Fresno VA Medical Center at the cross streets of Fresno Street and Clinton Avenue, Fresno CA.
