THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. This is NOT a Request for Quotation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The Regional Contracting Office Parris Island is seeking vendors who can move government property from Officer Selection Office, Fargo North Dakota, located at 1142 17th Street North, Fargo, ND 58102, to Recruiting Office Spencer, IA located at 901 11th Street Sothwest, Spencer, IA, 51301.

Moving Services

The contractor will be responsible for providing professional moving services to include, but not limited to, packaging office furniture such as stand-up desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and ballistic panels. The contractor will be responsible for disassemby and reassembly of office furniture and equipment as applicable. The specifications for moving services are further explained in the attached PWS.

Period of Performance:

Inventory and packing days are from 15 July 2024 to no later than 25 July 2024,
Moving, delivery, and unpacking dates are 26 July 2024 to no later than 5 August 2024.

Instructions to interested businesses:

To assist the Government in conducting market research, interested vendors please provide following information:
1. Company name, address, point of contact, voice number and email address.
2. Type of business (i.e., large, small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced, disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.) under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 484210, CAGE Code, and Unique Entity Identification Number.
3. Is your company capable of meeting this requirement? Please respond Yes or No and your projected dates of pick-up and delivery.
4. If your response to Question #3 above is Yes , please provide Proof of Capability (Capability Statement and Price Estimate).

Responses to this Source Sought notice shall be e-mailed to the point of contact identified below. The due date and time for responses to this sources sought is at 12:00 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time on October 31, 2024.

Background
The Regional Contracting Office – Parris Island is seeking vendors to provide professional moving services due to the closure of the Officer Selection Office Fargo and the need to relocate government property to a new office in Spencer, Iowa.

This initiative follows a natural disaster that destroyed all furniture in the Spencer office, which is scheduled to reopen in November 2024. The goal of this contract is to facilitate the movement of government property from Fargo, ND to Spencer, IA as part of a restructuring effort by the Marine Corps Recruiting Command.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Packaging office furniture including stand-up desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and ballistic panels.
2. Disassembling and reassembling office furniture and equipment as necessary.
3. Providing an accurate inventory list of all items being removed from the Fargo location.
4. Delivering and unpacking items at the Spencer location and assembling any office furniture upon arrival.
5. Ensuring all items are accounted for and providing a signed inventory list upon completion of the move.

The contractor must also comply with security requirements regarding sensitive information.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes inventory and packing days from July 15, 2024, to July 25, 2024, followed by moving, delivery, and unpacking from July 26, 2024, to August 5, 2024.

Place of Performance
The moving services will be performed between two locations: from Officer Selection Office at 1142 17th Street North, Fargo, ND 58102 to Recruiting Office at 901 11th Street Southwest, Spencer, IA 51301.
