Professional Italian Safety Coordinator Services   2

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District is issuing Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for Professional Italian Safety Coordinator Services to support selected construction contracts in Italy. The services will be performed in accordance with Italian Laws no. 81/2008 and related regulations. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with safety standards during construction projects, which are not classified as Professional Architectural-Engineering Services under the Brooks Act.

Work Details
The BPA includes the following services:

1. Design Safety Coordinator (DSC) - responsible for preparing the Safety and Coordination Plan and attending coordination meetings;

2. Construction Safety Coordinator (CSC) - oversees safety during construction and provides reports;

3. A/E/Surveyor Service - prepares analyses and documents for construction authorization;

4. Fire Protection Design/Construction - ensures compliance with fire protection laws;

5. Final Tester - verifies contractor documents and calculations;

6. Relazione Paesaggistica - prepares landscape compatibility reports for protected areas;

7. Work Director - oversees construction work, ensuring compliance with technical norms;

8. Ancillary consulting services including topographic surveying, structural engineering, environmental engineering, and more as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a five-year period from April 1, 2025, to April 1, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed in Vicenza, Aviano, Sigonella (Naples), and Livorno, Italy, with potential for other locations as required by the U.S. Government.
