Description

Professional Competitive CrossFit Coach for the U.S. Army Warrior Fitness Team in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included herein.

Background
This is a personal services contract to provide Professional Competitive CrossFit Programming for the US Army Warrior Fitness Team (AWFT). The AWFT currently has 10 elite CrossFit athletes and aims to develop fully into elite CrossFit Games competitors using an evidence-based and standardized approach. The contractor is expected to be a proven subject matter expert, with personal and professional experience as an elite athlete and training elite athletes to leverage success for sustainable competitive CrossFit programming for AWFT.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide daily dedicated strength & conditioning programming and specific guidance on tactics and techniques using 'proven' programming tactics and techniques. This includes in-depth, comprehensive, and inter-individualized strength & conditioning program coupled with ancillary services to augment psychological resilience and mobility/flexibility. The contractor will be responsible for analyzing the current abilities of the team members and providing the best training plan to maximize the efficacy of each individual as well as the team as a whole. Additionally, the contractor will provide training camps, psychological resilience/mental performance training sessions, mobility/flexibility training sessions, and media & marketing engagement leveraging their large-scale online and social media presence.

Period of Performance
The period of performance (POP) shall be for one (1) year from the contract award date to allow for staggered submission of different training events. The mission requirement will dictate the availability of personnel requiring training.

Place of Performance
The contractor shall provide in-person coaching/training at a minimum once per month at the Army Warrior Fitness Training Center at Fort Knox, KY. Additionally, virtual coaching/training sessions will be required, along with weekend training camps every quarter at the contractor’s premier training facility.
