Production Procurement of Radio Frequency Countermeasure (RFCM)   3

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to award BAE Systems Electronic Systems a sole-source, Fixed Price and Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Contract under Solicitation N00019-17-R-0074 for hardware and sustainment efforts, as required, for the RFCM system. This contract is planned to contain a base year with four option years, and is intended to satisfy Government requirements for Fiscal Year (FY) 19 through FY23. The anticipated award date is September 2018.

These requirements will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. BAE Systems is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the RFCM. As such, it is the only responsible source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge required to meet the Government's requirement.
