Description

Respondents are invited to provide information on the following subjects of interest to DEVCOM ePDM:

  • The ability of your PLM product(s) to provide the Core Capabilities outlined in Section 4.2a.
  • The ability of your PLM product(s) to satisfy the functional requirements outlined in Appendix A ePDM Functional Requirements .
  • Identification of software modules required to satisfy the Core Capabilities/ePDM Functional Requirements.
  • Information of cloud presence and Impact Levels.
  • Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) certification and Risk Management Framework authorizations
  • Rough Order Magnitude pertaining to licensing costs for software modules providing the Core Capabilities and ePDM Functional Requirements.
  • Rough Order Magnitude cost range pertaining to the implementation, training and migration of existing ePDM data into your PLM platform.
  • Rough Order Magnitude schedule range pertaining to the implementation, training and migration of data into your PLM platform.
  • Identification of assumptions/factors impacting the cost ranges provided in the Rough Order Magnitude (example: The ability to reuse work performed in ePDM Phases I, II and III).
  • Identification of assumptions/factors impacting the schedule allowing ePDM to reach Initial Operating Capability (IOC) by end of calendar year 2023 (CY2023).

Information provided in response to this RFI should total no more than twelve (12) total pages. Respondents may include additional attachments relevant to the RFI with their response document.

Background
The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Enterprise Product Data Management (ePDM) is conducting Market Research to obtain information on potential suppliers and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. ePDM is a cloud-based Product Data Management (PDM) IT solution utilizing Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) software products. The initiative aims to develop a collaborative enterprise Knowledge Management and IT Business Environment used for the management and publication of authoritative product data that enables and informs Future Force Modernization Enterprise, Acquisition, and Readiness activities and decisions throughout the entire product life cycle.

Work Details
