Procurement of Various Spares in Support of Float Assemblies on the MH-65 Aircraft   2

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70Z03825QB0000060 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03 effective January 17, 2025.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This is being solicited on a sole source basis. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Elizabeth City, NC intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract to Safran Aerosystems Services Americas, LLC. of College Park, GA on an other than full and open competition basis under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) for flotation systems, cylinders, and related spare parts used on the MH-65E aircraft. The floatation systems, cylinders and related spare parts will be supplied via issuance of individually funded Delivery Orders. Safran Aerosystems France is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the parts in this requirement and Safran Aerosystems Services Americas, LLC. (Cage Code 567V9) is the only approved source of supply/service for the parts in this requirement. The contract will consist of a one-year Base Period and four (4) one-year Option Periods.
