Procure MK 20 Electro Optical Sensor System (EOSS) & Engineering/Technical Services

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a FY16-20 production contract for the procurement of MK 20 Electro Optical Sensor System (EOSS) & Engineering/Technical Services for AEGIS Ticonderoga Class Cruiser and Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer Modernization and New Construction Programs, United States Coast Guard (USCG) WMSM-915 OPC Class and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to L-3 KEO - 50 Prince Street, Northampton, MA 01060.
The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency (Navy) if received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the decision of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
