Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform preventative maintenance services on Government-owned Draeger Anesthesia devices as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.

Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is issuing this solicitation for a non-personal services contract to provide Preventive Maintenance services for government-owned Draeger Anesthesia devices. The goal of the contract is to ensure that these devices are maintained according to OEM specifications and comply with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items required for the maintenance services.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Provide all services, labor, parts, materials, and equipment necessary for the service and maintenance of Draeger Anesthesia Units as listed in Appendix A.
2. Conduct preventive maintenance at least two times per year and coordinate schedules with NMCSD BIOMED after contract award.
3. Ensure that 95% or more of all periodic maintenance is performed within 30 days of the due date and that 100% is completed within 60 days.
4. Perform calibration, adjustment, lubrication, software updates for security and functionality issues, electrical safety testing, output testing, and replacement of batteries on a scheduled basis.
5. Make necessary repairs based on inspection tests or disassembly to ensure functional systems.
6. Maintain an overall uptime rate of 95% or better for all equipment covered under this contract.
7. Respond to inoperable conditions within two hours after notification from BIOMED during business hours.

The services will be performed at NMRTC San Diego.
