Preventive maintenance services for Ansul and Kitchen Hoods

Background
The United States Department of State (DOS) requires maintenance and training services at the unclassified clearance level for the U.S. Embassy Compound located in Dakar, Senegal.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of kitchen hood fire suppression systems and related services, which are critical for maintaining safety standards in embassy operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following services:
1. Kitchen hood fire suppression system servicing and piping network flushing, including the supply of labor, parts, and personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes flight tickets and accommodation expenses in the quotation.
2. Cleaning of kitchen hood ducts and exhaust fans using pressure washing machines and specialized cleaning equipment from the rooftop to the kitchen hood.
3. Onsite training for maintenance and catering staff on the operation of the R-102 fire suppression system.
4. The contractor must possess necessary tools, equipment, manufacturer’s instructions, fusible links for replacement, and non-corrosive cleaning materials prior to inspection visits.
5. The contractor is responsible for inspecting gas equipment under exhaust hoods, covering work areas with drop cloths, reigniting pilots after inspections, and submitting proposals for any noted deficiencies.
