Preventive Maintenance Service for Wastewater Treatment and Collection Systems

Background
The U.S. Department of State requires preventive maintenance services for the wastewater treatment and collection systems at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This contract aims to ensure the proper functioning and compliance of these systems, which are critical to the embassy's operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a range of services including:

1. Site Assessment and Survey - Conduct thorough evaluations of existing wastewater systems and infrastructure.

2. Project Management - Oversee all phases of the maintenance contract to ensure timely and efficient execution.

3. Professional Wastewater Treatment Services - Deliver expert-level treatment operations in accordance with applicable standards.

4. Logistics and Material Procurement - Manage the sourcing and supply of all necessary materials and equipment.

5. Preventive Maintenance and Testing - Perform scheduled maintenance and system testing to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations such as AWWA Standards, ANSI Standards, OSHA Standards, etc.

6. Cost Estimating and Scheduling - Develop accurate cost projections and maintain a reliable project schedule.

7. General Support Services - Provide additional operational support as required under this contract.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a base period of one year from the date of award, with four optional one-year periods available.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the U.S. Embassy compound located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience in wastewater treatment services, possess necessary licenses, certifications, and security clearances as required by the U.S. Government. They must also provide three customer references for similar scope work.
