Description

The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) proposes to enter into a contract with AID Autoimmun Diagnostika GMBH, D-72479 Strassberg, Germany, on a basis of other than full and open competition. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested, the Government shall consider capability statements. NOTE: Vendors must be an authorized re-seller to provide Preventive Maintenance Service on AID Instruments.

Period of Performance Start Date: 9/30/2025-9/29/2026

1. PP-5. One Onsite Preventive Maintenance per annum+ software upgrade+training, 1 yr warranty ext (includes repairs),iSpot Reader System- ECN 094140. SN: ELRIFL071203148.

The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM). Background
The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) is seeking to enter into a contract with AID Autoimmun Diagnostika GMBH for the provision of preventive maintenance services for specialized plate reader systems.

This contract is essential for maintaining the operational integrity of critical laboratory equipment used in clinical studies, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Clinical Practices (GCP). The NMRC's mission includes supporting research and development efforts for infectious disease vaccines, making the functionality of these instruments vital.

Work Details
The contractor will provide onsite preventive maintenance services for two AID iSpot Reader Systems, including:
1. One onsite preventive maintenance service per annum per instrument, which includes software upgrades and training.
2. A one-year warranty extension that covers repairs.
3. Detailed reporting requirements after each service visit, including a field service report submitted within two business days detailing the service performed, parts used, and technician information.
4. Maintenance coverage will be provided during normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with options for emergency services as needed.

The contractor must ensure that all maintenance adheres to OEM specifications and includes necessary repairs using certified parts.
