Preventive Maintenance and Unscheduled Repairs of Miscellaneous Food Processing Equipment - Group 8

Background
The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing non-personal services for Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Unscheduled Repairs of Miscellaneous Food Processing Equipment for stores located in Group 8, specifically at Moffett Field, Ord Community, and Travis Air Force Base in California.

This effort aims to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of food processing equipment used in commissaries.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Performing quarterly preventive maintenance (PM) on miscellaneous food processing equipment, including labor, parts, expendables, fluids, and trip charges as per the PM checklist.
2. Coordinating with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for scheduling PMs and completing initial PM within 30 days of contract award.
3. Maintaining cleanliness during service and disposing of hazardous materials according to regulations.
4. Responding to unscheduled service calls within 16 working hours and performing repairs within 7 working days, unless parts require OEM manufacturing.
5. Providing a signed repair quote and maintaining documentation such as service tickets that include detailed work performed, date of service, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
6. Offering a 30-day warranty on replacement parts and labor for repairs conducted.
