Amendment 2:

The purpose of this amendment is to document the results of the site visit that took place on 16 September. This amendment will incorporate answers to questions from the site visit. Technical exhibit 17 Water Reservoirs is added and PWS (section 7.3 Technical Exhibit) and Technical Exhibit`12 will be updated. Closing date will not be extended.

This is a non-personal services contract to provide Preventive Maintenance and Repair of Heating, Cooling systems, and real property equipment within USAG Ansbach. The Government will not exercise supervision or control over the contract service providers. The Contractor shall perform to the standards specified in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary as defined in this PWS.

Background
This contract is issued by the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Ansbach, located in Bavaria, Germany. The mission of the USAG is to provide support and services to military personnel and their families. The goal of this contract is to ensure the preventive maintenance and repair of heating, cooling systems, and real property equipment within the USAG Ansbach footprint, which encompasses approximately 7.4 million square feet.

The contractor will provide non-personal services without government supervision or control, ensuring compliance with established commercial standards and applicable laws.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform preventive maintenance and repair services for mechanical and electrical equipment as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes but is not limited to:
- Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Direct digital controls (DDC)
- Refrigeration and freezer systems
- Mechanical exhaust systems
- Smoke and heat exhaust systems
- Elevators
- Domestic and sewer water pumps
- Solar systems
- Gas boilers
- Co-generators
- Electrical systems.

The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items required for service delivery. Additionally, the contractor must compile historical data, prepare reports as specified in the deliverables section of the contract, and ensure all work meets performance standards for quality and timeliness.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be established upon award but will include a transition period of thirty (30) business days following contract award.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the USAG Ansbach footprint in Bavaria, Germany.
