In accordance with FAR 7.107-5(c), this posting provides notification of RCO-HI's intent to consolidate contracts W912CN20D0006 PM and Inspection for Fire Suppression Systems, W912CN21D0008 Kitchen Hoods, Ducts, and Filters Cleaning, and W912CN22C0004 for PM and Inspection for Automatic Chemical Wash Systems.

This is a non-personal services requirement to provide monthly preventive maintenance (PM) and repair services of automatic chemical wash systems, PM and inspection services on fire alarm systems and components, and cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems hoods, ducts, fans, and filters at various Army installations on the Island of Oahu and Pohakuloa Training Area and Kiluaea Military Camp (PTA/KMC), Island of Hawaii.

  • The Contractor shall perform semi-annual PM and inspection services on fire alarm systems and components IAW the latest edition NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, technical manuals, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-601-02, Operation and Maintenance: Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems, and manufacturers' instructions.
  • The contractor shall provide cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems hoods, ducts, fans, and filters at various facilities. Location and frequency of requirement is at various Army installations on the Island of Oahu and Pohakuloa Training Area and Kiluaea Military Camp (PTA/KMC), Island of Hawaii.
  • The Contractor shall provide monthly preventive maintenance (PM) and repair services of automatic chemical wash systems at various facilities.

This notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in the form of quotes, offers, or proposals are not requested. The Government is under no obligation to solicit or award a contract because of this announcement.

Background
The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at the Regional Contracting Office-Hawaii (RCO-HI) is issuing a notification regarding the consolidation of contracts for preventive maintenance and repair services. The goal of this contract is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of services provided to various Army installations on the Island of Oahu, Pohakuloa Training Area, and Kilauea Military Camp (PTA/KMC), Island of Hawaii.

This consolidation aims to ensure that all performance requirements are met while supporting mission objectives across multiple military installations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:

1. Performing semi-annual preventive maintenance (PM) and inspection services on fire alarm systems and components in accordance with NFPA 72, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-601-02, and manufacturers’ instructions.

2. Cleaning kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, ducts, fans, and filters at various Army facilities on Oahu and PTA/KMC.

3. Providing monthly preventive maintenance (PM) and repair services for automatic chemical wash systems at various facilities.

The consolidation of these services is intended to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve accountability by having a single contractor manage all related tasks.
