Description

SOLE SOURCE Requirement for Preventative Maintenance (PM) on the SPECTRO MAXX LMM05 Optical Spectrograph B/C G9500 with a Base plus two (2) Option Years.

Background
The Army Contracting Command – Redstone Arsenal is issuing a sole source requirement for preventative maintenance (PM) on the SPECTRO MAXX LMM05 Optical Spectrograph B/C G9500. This contract aims to ensure the operational readiness and safety of flight for critical non-destructive testing (NDT) laboratory equipment used in support of depot production shops, which provide sound and functional aircraft parts.

The equipment is located at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) in Texas and was originally purchased from SPECTRO Analytical Instruments Inc., which possesses proprietary software and integrated components necessary for servicing.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, quality control, and other items necessary to perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Calibration on the SPECTRO MAXX LMM05 Optical Emission Spectrograph. The services include:
1. On-site PM and calibration of the SPECTRO MAXX Model LMM05 Optical Emission Spectrograph.
2. Development and maintenance of an effective Quality Control Program (QCP) to ensure compliance with contract standards.
3. Coordination with government representatives to agree upon service dates.
4. Adherence to safety protocols to ensure the equipment's operational integrity.

Period of Performance
Base Period: 25 April 2025 to 24 April 2026; Option Period 1: 25 April 2026 to 24 April 2027; Option Period 2: 25 April 2027 to 24 April 2028.
