Background
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is issuing a solicitation for a firm fixed price purchase order to provide a Preventative Maintenance and Service Package for the Mediso NanoScan PET/CT animal imager. This requirement is essential for maintaining the operational integrity of the imaging equipment used in biomedical research.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance and service for the Mediso NanoScan PET/CT, ensuring that it operates at optimal performance levels. Specific tasks include: conducting regular maintenance checks, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing customer support, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor must demonstrate technical capability, effective contract management, and customer support as part of their proposal.

Period of Performance
The contract will consist of a 12-month base period from February 10, 2025, to February 9, 2026, followed by four additional 12-month option periods extending through February 9, 2030.
