Presolicitation: Architect and Engineering (AE) Services to Support the Planning, Engineering, and Engineering During Construction, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Southwestern Division (SWD), Galveston District (SWG)

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Southwestern Division (SWD), Galveston District (SWG) is seeking Architect and Engineering (AE) Services to Support the Planning, Engineering, and Engineering During Construction. The government is extending the bidder inquiry period for the DRAFT Industry Review until October 10th, 2022. Additionally, a preproposal conference is anticipated to be held in person in Galveston as well as virtually for those who cannot attend in person on or about the last week of October.

Work Details
The contract includes industry day/pre-proposal conference discussions, with intentions to issue another draft synopsis prior to the final synopsis. Offerors are required to address all five areas of emphasis, and projects performed for clients other than federal agencies or USACE may be relevant if they address the areas of emphasis. The Small Business Participation Goal shall reflect a reduction from 25% to a 15% goal. The contract also allows for the ability to use cost reimbursement task orders when necessary, but still anticipates the majority of task orders to be Firm Fixed Price.
