President’s Malaria Initiative Uganda Malaria Reduction Activity

Background
The United States Agency for International Development Mission to Uganda (USAID/Uganda) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to strengthen the capacity of malaria prevention and case management with ownership of health at the community and household levels, while maintaining gains made at the health facility level in focus districts. This procurement will be conducted under full and open competition under which any type of organization (U.S. and Non-U.S. commercial for profit firms, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations) is eligible to compete.

Work Details
The President’s Malaria Initiative Uganda Malaria Reduction Activity seeks to strengthen the capacity of malaria prevention and case management with ownership of health at the community and household levels, while maintaining gains made at the health facility level in focus districts. The contract is anticipated to be a single five-year Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) completion type contract, with a total estimated range of $30-$38.1 million (including costs and fee) for the implementation of this activity, covering a total estimated period of five years (subject to availability of funds).
