Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, Measurement Science and Engineering Department is responsible for Metrology, Test, and Monitoring Systems Assessment supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command Metrology and Calibration Program. This program sets the measurement science and calibration standards necessary for proper weapons operation, interoperability, and peak readiness for the fleet.

The existing Precision Pressure Calibrators in Navy Calibration Laboratories require modernization to address logistical limitations of the current model, King Nutronics 3689A. The new calibrators will enhance operational agility and flexibility while generating cost savings through reduced transportation, power consumption, and maintenance requirements.
