Pre-Solicitation Notice for Preventive Maintenance of Emergency Generators   2

Background
The American Embassy in Brunei requires preventive maintenance services for two U.S. Government-owned Cummins diesel generator sets located at the Chancery Compound. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the generators remain in proper operating condition and comply with the manufacturer's warranty requirements and recommendations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, consumables, supervision, transportation, insurance, and any other resources necessary to perform preventive maintenance services. The services shall include maintenance, inspection, testing, adjustment, troubleshooting, and replacement of consumable items as required.

The equipment covered includes:
1) One (1) 352DFEH Cummins Diesel Generator Set (400 KVA) with OTPC600 Transfer Switch and Remote Annunciator Panel;
2) One (1) 28DGBB Cummins Diesel Generator Set (30 KVA) with OTPC300 Transfer Switch, Remote Annunciator Panel, and Remote Start Controller Panel. All services must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable manufacturer specifications and safety regulations. The Contractor must ensure that the generators are ready to provide emergency power during normal working hours in case of a city power failure.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a one-year period starting from September 25, 2026, with two one-year optional periods of performance.

Place of Performance
Chancery Compound, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide trained/certified generator technicians to perform the required services. They must also submit names and biographic data of all personnel who will work on this contract for security clearance purposes. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all employees adhere to standards of conduct reflecting credit on themselves and the U.S. Government.
