PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY: The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration intends to release a requirement to procure cemetery grounds maintenance services for the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery & Confederate Mound Burial Plot/Monument Located Within Oak Wood Cemetery via an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The IDIQ will be for a base period of one (1) year plus four (4), one-year option periods. Vendor site visit scheduled for 3/27/2023. See attachment.
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration intends to award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to procure cemetery grounds maintenance services for Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery and the Confederate Mound Burial Plot/Monument within Oak Wood Cemetery. The contract will include a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods.

Work Details
Perform all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and management necessary to maintain cemetery grounds and preserve the appearance and safety of all burial plots and surrounding grounds.

The tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Mowing, trimming, and edging
- Pruning, mulching, and fertilization
- Weed and pest control and debris removal
- Irrigation system maintenance
- Monument cleaning and upkeep
- Seasonal leaf and snow removal
- Any other tasks required to preserve the cemetery grounds and monuments

Period of Performance
One (1) year base period plus four (4) one-year option periods.

Place of Performance
Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois 60421, including the Confederate Mound Burial Plot/Monument located within Oak Wood Cemetery.
