PPE Apparel and Towels - Swanton VT

Background
The U.S. Border Patrol, Swanton Sector Headquarters is seeking a rental contract for the supply and laundering of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) apparel, specifically flame and fluid resistant shirts and trousers, as well as shop towels.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1) Supply 8 Fender Covers per month, 200 Shop Towels per month, and 24 Mats;
2) Provide eleven (11) sets of PPE per employee for 12 employees. Each set includes eleven (11) shirts (both long sleeve and short sleeve based on seasonal requirements), eleven (11) pairs of pants, one (1) mid-weight jacket, one (1) light-weight jacket, one (1) light-weight vest, two (2) sweatshirts, and one (1) bib overall or coverall based on user preference. Sizes will be determined upon proper fitment by the contractor;
3) Weekly pick-up of dirty items and provision of clean items in exchange;
4) Contractor furnished items will include PPE apparel & shop towels, fender covers, & cotton mats.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will last for one base year with four additional one-year option periods, contingent upon the availability of funds.
