Power Utility Vehicles and Material Handling

Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking to establish a contract for Power Utility Vehicles and Material Handling Technician services. The goal of this contract is to ensure preventative maintenance and repair services for power utility vehicles and material handling equipment located at the SSA Headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as other facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide qualified personnel to perform maintenance and repair services for all electric (lead-acid battery with various cell sizes and voltages) and gasoline powered (internal combustion type engines) material handling equipment, support vehicles, and machinery at SSA’s facilities, including various warehouses and docks.

The contractor must furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, management supervision, and other items necessary to perform all repair functions. Personnel must have five years of experience working as factory certified qualified personnel on the relevant equipment. Additionally, all required state licenses and certificates to conduct service and repair on the equipment must be held by the personnel.

The contract will be performed at SSA Headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as at various warehouses and docks maintained by SSA.
