Potable Water Testing - Francis Marion National Forest

This contract opportunity is for Water Testing Laboratory Services to support the Forest Service Drinking Water Program. The contract will be a base plus four option year contract. The Forest Service will collect samples from seven separate locations monthly and deliver them to the laboratory drop off location within 24 hours of collection. The laboratory will perform a Coliform Analysis Colilert on each sample and provide the results to the Forest Service within five business days.

The specific work details of this contract involve mandated public drinking well water testing for the USDA Forest Service, Francis Marion and Sumter National Forest, Francis Marion (FM) Ranger District in Huger, SC. As required by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) and FMS 7420, all public drinking well water provided on the Francis Marion Forest must be tested monthly for Bacterial Coliform Analysis. There are seven active public well water sites in the FM District. The laboratory drop-off location should be within forty miles of the Francis Marion Ranger District.

The period of performance for this contract is as follows: Base Year: 1 March 2024 - 28 February 2025; Option Year 1: 1 March 2025 - 28 February 2026; Option Year 2: 1 March 2026 - 28 February 2027; Option Year 3: 1 March 2027 - 29 February 2028; Option Year 4: 1 March 2028 - 28 February 2029.
