Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) for two (2) DDG 51 class guided missile destroyers   3

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation N00024-23-R-2321 for the accomplishment of a Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) and other post-delivery support for two (2) DDG 51 class guided missile destroyers. Based upon industry response to Request for Information N00024-23-R-2321 issued on 11 October 2022, NAVSEA's small business office concurs with the decision to not set aside the procurement. NAVSEA anticipates issuing the solicitation for full and open competition in April 2023.

A PSA encompasses the correction of Government responsible trial card deficiencies, completion of new work identified between ship custody transfer and the start of PSA, and the incorporation of approved engineering changes and other work items that were not incorporated prior to delivery of the ship to the Navy. The subject procurement's requirements include the manpower, support services, material, facilities, and non-standard equipment (and associated technical data and documentation) required to accomplish work items, tests, and post repair sea trials encompassed by the PSA.

The work shall be performed in the ships homeport Mayport, Florida.
