Portable Toilets and Service

Background
This project is initiated by the Tonto National Forest, specifically the Cave Creek Ranger District and Mesa Ranger District, to provide essential sanitation services through the use and maintenance of portable restrooms.
The goal is to enhance visitor experience at various recreation sites located between 45 to 50 miles from Phoenix, Arizona.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the use and maintenance of 39 portable restrooms located at various recreation sites including Bartlett Lake & Needle Rock Recreation Areas, St. Clair OHV Permit Zone, Desert Vista OHV Permit Zone, The Rolls OHV Permit Zone, and Bulldog Canyon OHV Permit Zone.

Services include:
- Sweeping cobwebs off walls, ceilings, and windows.
- Removing dirt and other solids from floors and walls.
- Sanitizing toilet risers and seats with antibacterial cleaner.
- Restocking toilet paper.
- Notifying district contact of any vandalism or graffiti that needs removal.
- Ensuring garbage is disposed of in on-site dumpsters.

The units will be serviced year-round with specific frequency:
- March to October: Twice a week (Fridays & Mondays) with extra Sunday services on holiday weekends.
- November to February: Once a week (Fridays).
- Emergency services as needed throughout the year.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed year-round from January to December.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations within Maricopa County, Arizona, specifically in the Cave Creek Ranger District and Mesa Ranger District.
