Description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a requirement for Portable Less Lethal Vehicle Immobilization Devices. The Government intends to make a single indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract award resulting from solicitation, 70B06C23R00000074. Work Details
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a new requirement for the procurement of a Portable Less Lethal Vehicle Immobilization Device (VID) to safely immobilize vehicles attempting to flee law enforcement. The selected device will be evaluated for its operational compatibility, safety, effectiveness, and reliability during CBP operations.
Technical requirements include specifications for the housing, deflation mechanism, and operation of the device.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of the anticipated contract is the date of award through 60 months from date of award (5 years total), divided into five equal 12-month ordering periods.
Delivery Orders (DOs) may require delivery up to 12 months beyond the last day of the contract’s ordering period.
