Portable AC Rental

Background
The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) is an industrial complex dedicated to maintaining, modernizing, and retiring the Navy fleet. It is the largest naval shore facility in the Pacific Northwest and one of Washington State's largest industrial installations. Due to the age of PSNS, many buildings lack proper climate control and require upgrades to their HVAC systems. The contract aims to lease portable air conditioning units as a temporary solution until these upgrades are completed.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide leasing services for one 5-ton portable AC unit and four 12-ton portable AC units. This includes all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items to perform the operational lease. The contractor must ensure compliance with all requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contract. Services include leasing, transportation, and replacement of units if they fail. The work will be performed at PSNS from June through September 2026.

Period of Performance
Approximately 87 days starting on or around June 15, 2026.

The prior contract N4523A25P5802 awarded to Elite Veteran Solutions for $46,122 (06/26/25–10/01/25) appears to be a confirmed incumbent effort for portable AC unit leasing. The current Portable AC Rental requires leasing one 5-ton and four 12-ton portable units at PSNS for a similar temporary HVAC need, with the same general scope of providing the units and related transportation/replacement support if units fail.
