This is a non-personal service(s) contract to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Inspection and Maintenance on POL Separators at USAG Bavaria (Hohenfels, Training Area Freihoelser Forst, Tower Barracks Grafenwoehr, Rose Barracks Vilseck and Garmisch-Partenkirchen). The Contractor shall perform to the standards of this contract. The maintenance and cleaning of POL separators is mandated by German wastewater disposal law and final governing standards. The Contractor shall provide inspection, maintenance and emptying services for a variety of different POL Separator units from nominal size (NG) 3 up to NG 130 and their components. This work includes inspection, maintenance, repair and installation of all components, devices, equipment and systems in accordance with (IAW) the manufacturer's manuals.

Background
This is a non-personal service(s) contract to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Inspection and Maintenance on POL Separators at USAG Bavaria (Hohenfels, Training Area Freihoelser Forst, Tower Barracks Grafenwoehr, Rose Barracks Vilseck and Garmisch-Partenkirchen). The Contractor shall provide inspection, maintenance and emptying services for a variety of different POL Separator units from nominal size (NG) 3 up to NG 130 and their components. This work includes inspection, maintenance, repair and installation of all components, devices, equipment and systems in accordance with (IAW) the manufacturer’s manuals.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform Monthly Maintenance and Inspection of Sludge Traps and POL Separators, recording, preparation of logbooks; provide cleaning of sludge traps, POL separators inlets and oil separators of different manufacturers and of different rated sizes as well as the disposal of oil separator residues at certified disposal and recycling plants IAW the service description. The Contractor shall provide collection of water samples from each POL separator once a year, including provision of lab analysis and generation of lab results IAW the service description. The Contractor shall also provide replacement of defective sensors for alarm systems; replacement of defective alarm systems including all sensors, control units, power units; replacement of coalescence filter materials for various nominal sizes; performance of General Inspection every 5 years IAW DIN1999-100 for light media separators and high efficiency separators between NG 3 and NG 130.
