Background
The Boise VA Medical Center's Veterinary Medical Unit (VMU) supports research services by providing essential veterinary care and facilities. The contract aims to ensure the operational efficiency of a newly commissioned Atlantis RW cage washer, which is critical for maintaining hygiene and functionality in the facility. The contractor must demonstrate experience with Tecniplast equipment and be capable of sourcing and installing OEM replacement parts.

Work Details
The contractor will provide preventative maintenance, manufacturer updates, and emergency repair service coverage for one Atlantis RW cage washer located at the Boise VA Medical Center. Specific tasks include:
- Regular preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of the cage washer.
- Implementation of manufacturer updates to keep the equipment compliant with current standards.
- Provision of emergency repair services to address any unexpected breakdowns or malfunctions promptly.
- The contractor must have proven experience servicing Tecniplast equipment and must use only OEM replacement parts.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base year from December 25, 2025, to December 24, 2026, with four additional option years extending through December 24, 2030.
