PKA - Walk-in Paint Booth Repair - 22 MXS - McConnell AFB   3

Background
The 22nd MXG requires repair of the user interface and exhaust sensors of the “Pauli Systems Focus 15” walk-in paint booth located at McConnell AFB. The booth is currently not operational due to the interface being locked into a foreign language (Italian) and the inefficient performance of the exhaust. This has driven forced shutdown by the base Fire Department and Bioenvironmental Engineering sections, leading to classification of risk assessment code level 2 due to unsafe levels of ventilation and explosion potential.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to install a new interface and sensors for the paint booth in Building 1124 Room 190. After the parts have been removed and replaced, a complete system test should be conducted to identify any additional repairs needed. The contractor shall also provide a quote for any additional repairs needed to bring the system back to fully operational capability. Additionally, the contractor shall deliver and install all replacement parts no later than 30 calendar days after the date of award, complete the inspection, operational test, and provide a quote for any additional repairs needed no later than 45 calendar days from the date of award.
