PKA - System Network Infrastructure/ Help Desk Services

The contractor shall provide non-personal services and other items to perform tier II/Help Desk Support for the 6th Medical Group (6 MDG) as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) at MacDill AFB, FL. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in this PWS, 6 MDG policies, Security Technical Information Guidance (STIG), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Air Force (AF) and Department of Defense (DOD) directives and instructions. NON-PERSONAL SERVICES AND/OR INHERENTLY GOVERNMENTAL SERVICES. The Government will neither supervise contractor employees nor control the method by which the contractor performs the required tasks. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to manage its employees and to guard against any actions that are of the nature of personal services or give the perception of personal services. If the contractor feels that any actions constitute, or are perceived to constitute personal services, it shall be the contractor's responsibility to notify the PCO immediately. These services shall not be used to perform work of a policy/decision making or management nature, (e.g., inherently governmental functions). All decisions relative to programs supported by the contractor shall be the sole responsibility of the Government. The 6 MDG is a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) campus consisting of 6 buildings on base and 1 building off-base (18 miles away). Support to 6 MDG staff members will be required at other partner locations both on base and in the greater Tampa Bay area as defined by 6 MDG executives and IAW 6 MDG goals and objectives. The 6 MDG Network and Functional Systems Administration Engineering Support environment includes, but not limited to, all network components (routers, switches, wireless access points, cabling, etc.) and a sundry of office automation, clinical and business applications and systems (stand-alone servers, virtual servers, Storage Area Networks, etc.) in a primarily MS Windows Operating System environment. The Information Technology Support environment includes, but not limited to, end user devices such as desktop, tablet and laptop workstations (primarily utilizing Windows 7/Windows 10), monitors and display devices, printers, scanners and multi-function devices and a sundry of office automation, clinical and business applications and systems.
