Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to answer Contractor-posed question to the solicitation.

Question #1 The synopsis and solicitation mention approximately 439 pipettes due for calibration; however, the equipment list provided includes just over 200 pipettes.
Answer: 439 pipettes is due to two calibrations per year on approximately 200 pipettes. Additional pipettes are included in the possible situation where more pipettes are added.

Background
The contract is issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for pipette calibration services. The mission of HHS is to enhance the health and well-being of Americans by providing effective health and human services and fostering advances in medicine, public health, and social services.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that pipettes used within the agency meet required calibration standards, thereby supporting accurate scientific research and data collection.

Work Details
The contractor will provide pipette calibration services as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW). This includes compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards for all information and communication technology (ICT) supplies, products, platforms, information, documentation, and services.

The contractor must ensure that all deliverables conform to the Revised 508 Standards. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for submitting a completed HHS Section 508 Accessibility Conformance Checklist or an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for any ICT supplies or services provided. The contractor must also monitor technical progress, perform technical evaluations, conduct inspections and acceptances of supplies/services delivered, and assist in resolving any technical problems encountered during performance.
