Pineview Reservoir Recreation Complex Reconstruction – Uinta Wasatch, Cache National Forest, Weber Utah   3

Background
The Pineview Reservoir Recreation Complex Reconstruction project is being issued by the USDA Forest Service, specifically the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The mission of the agency is to manage and protect national forests and grasslands for the benefit of current and future generations.

The goal of this contract is to reconstruct the existing Port Boat Ramp and enhance recreational facilities at Pineview Reservoir, which serves as a vital area for public recreation and environmental conservation.

Work Details
The scope of work includes comprehensive reconstruction tasks at the Port Ramp Day Use Area at Pineview Reservoir. Key construction tasks include:
1) Removal and disposal of existing structures and site furnishings;
2) Salvage of existing precast concrete vault comfort stations;
3) Preservation of access routes onto adjacent properties;
4) Obliteration, scarification, and regrading of existing roadways and paths;
5) Construction of SR-158 road improvements including entry roads, booths, and exit roads;
6) Installation of storm drainage systems including culverts, catch basins, treatment devices, and drainage channels;
7) Construction of rock rip rap slope protection;
8) Installation of entry gates;
9) Construction of concrete stairs;
10) Installation of new precast concrete vault comfort stations;
11) Construction of a new dump station;
12) Improvements around the Utah Division of Water Resources decontamination area;
13) Development of a new parking lot area;
14) Construction of a new booster pump station with water connections to various facilities;
15) Development of host sites with utility hookups;
16) Installation of a sanitary sewer system for dump stations and host sites with underground wastewater storage tanks;
17) Construction of trash enclosures; and
18) Building pavilions with picnic tables.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on September 15, 2025, and conclude by May 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Pineview Reservoir located in Weber County, Utah.
