Description

Request for Proposal - Pendulous Integrated Gyroscopic Accelerometer (PIGA) Float Repair FY22_FY26

Background
The United States Air Force, specifically the AIR FORCE NUCLEAR WEAPONS CENTER at HILL AIR FORCE BASE, UTAH, is issuing a contract to remanufacture/rebuild/repair the Pendulous Integrating Gyroscopic Accelerometer (PIGA) Float Assemblies. These assemblies are used on the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system. The contract is being awarded to Honeywell Aerospace located at 13350 U.S. Highway 19 N, Clearwater, Florida 33764-7290 with CAGE code 09128.

Work Details
The contractor shall remanufacture/rebuild/repair PIGA Float Assemblies to the most current configuration, Part Number 9043520-010 (NSN 1420-01-386-7795AH). The contractor shall maintain a qualified workforce with the necessary skills and abilities to meet the duties and requirements described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The duties and requirements described in the PWS require PIGA Float expertise. The Contractor shall provide training, acquire and maintain certifications, and provide the necessary tools, systems, etc., for all Contractor personnel.
