Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of two Picaso Plus 2D Specimens. These units will serve as emergency backup systems for domestic hot water at the Cleveland VA Medical Center.

The Picaso Plus 2D Specimen Radiography System features specialized capabilities designed for Anatomic Pathology workflows that are not available in other systems. Key specifications include:
- Utilizes Amorphous Selenium direct capture imaging technology for high-resolution, diagnostic-quality images necessary for accurate identification of biopsy clips, markers, and microcalcifications within excised tissue.
- Large 10” x 12” detector allowing imaging of larger specimens such as mastectomies without repositioning.
- Integrated digital workflow features including DICOM compatibility and image blending of radiographic and optical images.
- Mobile image access through a wireless tablet interface.
- Hands-free operation via voice and gesture control to support sterile and efficient gross room workflows.
