Background
The National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) is responsible for acquiring, storing, preserving, and exhibiting the material history of the Marine Corps from 1775 to the present.

The NMMC also educates Marines on their traditions and serves as a source of information for Marines, veterans, and the public. This contract aims to provide professional photography services for posters and archival artifacts that document Marine Corps history and culture.

Work Details
The contractor will perform professional fine art photography, scanning, and reproduction of original posters and archival artifacts. Key tasks include:
1. Conducting an intake meeting within 25 days of contract award to review artifacts requiring photography.
2. Performing photography and scanning tasks that may range from a single item to 300 items across multiple sessions.
3. Providing high-resolution digital images at specified resolutions (300dpi) and formats (TIF, JPG).
4. Delivering proof prints and digital files via Dropbox within ten days after each session.
5. Retouching images at varying levels as specified in task orders.
6. Producing prints on archival quality materials with options for framing as needed.

Place of Performance
The majority of photography will occur at the NMMC Museum Support Facility (MSF) located in Dumfries, VA, with potential visits to other Marine Corps facilities in Northern Virginia and Washington DC.
