Background
The United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) has a recurring requirement for the lease of Phillips HeartStart Onsite Automated External Defibrillators (AED), Manufacture Part Number (MPN) M5066A; 861282 (brand name or equal), for the USMEPCOM Public Access Defibrillators (PAD) Program. The leased equipment will support 67 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) locations, throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and the USMEPCOM Headquarters.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide automated external defibrillators via a 12-month lease agreement and will renew each 12-month lease agreement on an annual basis, as needed. The resultant contract will be for a period not to exceed five years.

The contractor shall provide all required incidental services related to the purchase of the leased AEDs, to include personnel, transportation, equipment, and supplies necessary to deliver, install, and maintain the leased equipment. The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including those referenced in Section 6 of the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall maintain safety and health standards compliant with requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The contractor shall be responsible for the security of all Government information. The work to be performed under this contract will be located at various MEPS locations throughout the CONUS.
