Description

This requirement is for a high-performance Phase Noise and AM Noise Analyzer to support precise RF and oscillator signal characterization as specified in this RFQ via Attachment A, Statement of Need. The high-performance Phase Noise and AM Noise Analyzer is intended to support first article testing at the National Weather Services' Radar Operations Center. The system must meet stringent performance criteria for measuring low phase noise at RF input frequencies ranging from 1 MHz to 3.5 GHz and must support both continuous and pulsed signal testing, VCO characterization, and jitter analysis.

Background
This requirement is for a high-performance Phase Noise and AM Noise Analyzer to support precise RF and oscillator signal characterization as specified in this RFQ via Attachment A, Statement of Need.

The analyzer is intended to support first article testing at the National Weather Services’ Radar Operations Center, which plays a critical role in weather monitoring and forecasting.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a high-performance Phase Noise and AM Noise Analyzer that meets stringent performance criteria for measuring low phase noise at RF input frequencies ranging from 1 MHz to 3.5 GHz.

The system must support both continuous and pulsed signal testing, VCO characterization, and jitter analysis. The delivery of one unit is required, with shipping to be included in the overall pricing.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed following the issuance of the purchase order, with specific timelines for delivery to be established upon order confirmation.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the National Weather Services’ Radar Operations Center located at 1200 Westheimer Drive, Norman, OK 73069.
