Persian-Farsi Foreign Language Instruction Services

Background
The Washington Headquarters Service/Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) in Germany requires Persian-Farsi Language instructional services in support of the Partner Language Training Center, Europe (PLTCE). The mission of the GCMC is to create a more stable security environment by advancing democratic institutions and relationships, promoting active, peaceful, whole-of-government approaches to address transnational and regional security challenges, and creating and enhancing enduring partnerships worldwide.

The mission of the PLTCE is to provide flexible language training to US personnel while offering English and strategic language instruction and expertise for NATO Allies and worldwide partners.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide 30 hours of intensive target language instruction per week, for as much as six (6) contact hours per day. Instruction shall be performed from 0840 to 1550, Monday-Friday. Depending upon class size and the number of instructors available in a given language, instructors may be required to teach less than 6 contact hours a day. Class size will typically range from 1-6 students. In those instances, the Contractor shall perform services delineated in the PWS.

The instructor may also be required to teach tutorial hours to students on an as-needed basis. Tutorial hours will be outside of the regular 30 hours. Tutorial hours shall not exceed 30 hours per week, each one (1) year of the period of performance.

Period of Performance
The Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Contract's period of performance will begin in December 2022 with an ordering period of five (5) years.

Place of Performance
The services provided under this contract will be performed at George C Marshall Center, Sheridan Kaserne and Artillery Kaserne Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
